Many times I helped him, my boss, a foreigner working in my country. From work to private life like looking for the babysisters for his son, help his wife to find her lost wallet, … Sometimes it took the time to solve them and I came back late. He gave me money like taxi fee but I refused. I considered him as a friend and help was not a transaction paid by money - I thought.

One day I met trouble in my working and he could do something to solve it for me yet he did not. I was shocked. I managed and solved my trouble by myself. There was something wrong and was he a good person or not? These questions made me stressful and bored to look at his face at that time.

I shared this story with my friend and expect to his advice. He smiled, ¨You are selfish. You don´t require everyone behave with you like yours. Your help is given along with a condition¨.

I barely understood his words and almost became angry with him too.

From that shock I practised to forget the good things I did for others but still keep habit to remember the good things that others did for me. My memory refreshed and cleared a half of space. Gradually, until now I realized the meaning of my friend´s words. Given is not to expect to being remembered or hope to receive a same thing one day. Given is simply a kind heart and mind turns into action without conditions.

Live as natural.
